Ad hoc networks are distributed decentralised networks - see P2P.

Currently there is a trend in identifying "Ad hoc networks" with "Wireless ad hoc networks" - see Wireless_ad_hoc_networks, which are a specific subclass of ad hoc network. Ooskapenaar (talk) 13:43, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
