hint of bias

Not once but twice the article says that Senator Markley only got elected because of the 1984 Reagan Landslide. That certainly must have been a factor but the Democrat writer must concede that Markley must have had something to do with his election in 1984. Plenty of Republicans benefited from the coattail effect but fell short of being elected. -- JRM --75.130.91.73 (talk) 12:02, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to feel it says he "only got elected because of" the trend. The text actually says "due in part", which is very different. - SummerPhDv2.0 17:14, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
