How do I add a photo?

I have an awesome satellite photo of multiple hole punches. How do I upload it? 04:32, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

Do you own the rights to the photo? SkySilver (talk) 15:42, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
And no offense, but personal stuff shouldn't be used here as it might be photoshopped. I don't think any images should be from anything that doesn't meet our WP:RS criteria. Dougweller (talk) 16:17, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I was talking about a NASA satellite photo (This file is in the public domain because it was created by NASA. NASA copyright policy states that "NASA material is not protected by copyright unless noted".) like the one that is already up. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Texas_tmo_2007029_lrg.jpg FX 17:21, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

what about "cloud seeding"

http://www.ecofriend.com/the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly-cloud-seeding.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_seeding http://www.nawcinc.com/photopages/SeedingEffects.htm Also the fallstreak hole wiki actually speaks a lot about "rare thing". https://www.google.fr/search?q=hole+punch+cloud&rlz=1C1CHNQ_frFR605FR605&espv=2&biw=1680&bih=903&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=68RcVJaZLNjkavHKgqgD&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ Nothing rare got so many different pictures of different moment different place and still calling it "rare". Suggested move

Requested move 24 March 2017

Fallstreak holeCavum (cloud) – International Cloud Atlas, 2017 207.107.159.62 (talk) 06:19, 24 March 2017 (UTC) 207.107.159.62 (talk) 06:19, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Agree on grounds that newest revision of cloud atlas has a specific name for this phenomenon. "Fallstreak hole" is a common vernacular name for it, and is not encyclopedic. BearGlyph (talk) 14:37, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Done. BearGlyph (talk) 15:09, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Move back to fallstreak hole

This was a perfectly good enough name and it's stupid that scientists still are offended by names that are used by the public, what makes it not useable for encyclopedias, just because it's in Latin doesn't make it any better. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DustyRedSkies (talkcontribs) 10:16, 14 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback

The article is well-written and easy to read as is; however, it seems very rushed and non-descriptive. The flow of the article transitioned fairly well, however it would be worthwhile to break off into specific sections and expand on items currently broadly brushed on where possible.
