Purdue's biographical details have been amended due to new information available from her mother (Miriam Soljak's) biography, at the Dictionary of New Zealand Biography: http://www.dnzb.govt.nz

New Zealand feminist?![edit]

Given Purdue's involvement in anti-feminist activism in the seventies and eighties, the only feminist objective that she supported was the campaign for equal pay in the sixties and seventies. I question her placement in that category. Calibanu (talk) 00:59, 18 April 2011 (UTC)User Calibanu[reply]
