This was an extraordinary situation in the summer of 2007. 3 Children died here from Primary ameobic meningo-encephalitis. The Orange County Health Department works with the CDC to investigate waterborne and other illnesses. We look forward to collaboration on improving this article and protecting the health of swimmers and those engaged in water sports.
