P157

[edit]

The R21 is referred to as the P157 in official documentation, and on the signs on the side of the road. The section closer to Pretoria is called the P157-1 and the section closer to the airport (past Olifantsfontein) seems to be the P157-2. Someone who understands the significance of this alternative numbering scheme for roads (K and P) should add that detail to the article. 168.209.98.35 20:11, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

National Route Numbers

[edit]

Somewhere just after the infobox, it reads that the "R21" is the lowest R-Designated route in the nation because "numbers 1-20 are reserved for national route numbers".

Does this statement still apply now that there seems to be plans for the N21 (South Africa) in the city of Cape Town? Somebody please clarify. GeographicAccountant (talk) 03:26, 19 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
