Date of birth

Courtesy ping for @Wikimandia:, who added it in the first place. This was recently changed by an IP editor, despite the reference saying June 23rd, 1926. Although I'm unsure about the day, March is supported (albeit indirectly) by Paddy Doherty's own book, which says As my birth in 1926 coincided with the Lincoln, an English race, my father put a bet on a horse called Second Edition, which was an also - ran . He should have paid more attention to the jockeys' names: Patrick Donohue rode the winning horse. The race referred to is the Lincoln Handicap, with the 1926 race being won by Pat Donoghue" (I think we can safely ignore the surname spelling difference), and although I'm unsure of the date of the race the Pathe issue date is 25/03/1926. I've no objections if anyone thinks March should be included as well, but for now I've just amended it to just 1926. FDW777 (talk) 21:20, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
