POV issue

[edit]

however unlikely it is that someone will read this, i'm wondering why the writer of the article (or a later editor) has decided to review the album. now i dont know all the rules of wikipedia, but i've never seen another article written from a 1st person POV, so im gonna guess that it is not the norm. and im pretty sure it goes against the NPOV thingy too...

Yes, this is definitely a POV article. I will edit it down so it is neutral. Sandro67 15:03, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Turn to Despair

[edit]

Turn to despair was removed because it is not a BFMV song. Also, the info has no sources whatsoever. 76.185.181.20 16:49, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According to what iv found out about it its track 12 off "Wasted! October 2004" (from the embedded ig3 tags) apart from that, there isn't really a lot else to go on. Balthazar (talk) 02:47, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have nothing against Turn To Despair and yes i wish they had put it on the album because it is an excellent song and i was at the warped tour when they played it :p it was called Nation By Nation and was on the Jeff Killed John EP —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fretwalkers (talkcontribs) 11:37, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Turn To Despair is a Bullet For My Valentine Song, it can be foun on the 'Japanese Bonus Track' Edition of their EP Hand of Blood —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.254.78.70 (talk) 02:30, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So Long Trivia

[edit]

I removed the Trivia section because the information remains useless —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.102.108.117 (talk) 03:02, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Repetitive "B-Sides" Section

[edit]

I Removed The B-Sides Section for a few reasons. First of all, As far as I know there's no version of "Waking The Demon" or "End Of Days" recorded for The Poison. Second, The songs that are bonus tracks are already listed in the tracklistings. The other songs are mentioned in other articles.

Domination?

[edit]

I have the US-Reissue sitting in my lap, and it does not have Domination on there at all. It ends with Tears Don't Fall (Acoustic). 205.201.221.2 (talk) 19:56, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Poison Track 1

[edit]

This edit war is really stupid! What I can do for you to understand that the name of the song is "Intro"? In this article, it was incorrectly named "Intro... My lifestyle" since 2010, but that is not the real name. Do you want some references? Here are a lot of references that prove that I am right: Liner notes, iTunes, AllMusic review, MusicOMH review, BBC review, Amazon, Bullet for My Valentine website. Cristian MH (talk) 17:07, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Most websites call the song "Intro" simply that because it's a shorter version for the real name. Type "Intro...My Lifestyle" into google and you will get results on websites such as lastfm.AmongTheliving66 (talk) 20:40, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You must be joking. Do you think Last.fm is a reliable source? I have shown you the band's official website, the iTunes page, some professional reviews of The Poison and even a picture album where you can clearly read the name is "Intro". I think that should be enough, don't you? Cristian MH (talk) 10:46, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This is the first time I have ever heard the first track being called "Intro...My Lifestyle". I know as a fact It's just "Intro". I have three versions of The Poison. UK original, US deluxe and the UK re-issue. All three states just as "Intro". — ıʇɐʞǝɐdʌɐиƭɐqǝoɟʎouɹqoɐʇtalk13:37, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your comment! I think this discussion is nonsense, it's obvious that the name is "Intro". But AmongTheliving66 and TJD2 didn't allowed me to correct the name of the song, they reverted all my edits. Therefore, I have been compelled to use WP:DRN, as you can see Wikipedia:Dispute_resolution_noticeboard#The_Poison. Cristian MH (talk) 14:59, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oh and I also have The Poison: Live DVD. This also states the title as just "Intro". To me the added ending "...My Lifestyle" is just nothing but nonsenses. Cristian MH has clearly provided multiple reliable sources, yet they are being ignored. This should be fixed. Even the liner notes says "Intro". I mean, if the full title was called "Intro... My Lifestyle" why wouldn't the band themselves step up and say so? — ıʇɐʞǝɐdʌɐиƭɐqǝoɟʎouɹqoɐʇtalk23:38, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Inline references are required per WP:V for any material which has been challenged.. As we've had an ANI post, edit warring, and a three day page protection, the name of the first track has been challenged, so it should be referenced. NE Ent 03:21, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
