[Notability]

[edit]

Not notable? Might want to look around.

I has been nearly six years since Lunarbunny's comment above, and the article, as currently written, still lacks even basic facts (with references) about who he is. It seems like he was some Microsoft hot shot back in the day, then took his money to start a few companies. Where they successful? Dunno. How is this guy different than others who where in tech start-ups? Dunno. The article should say. Senator2029 ➔ Talk 00:10, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blog down

[edit]

Hey, it looks like his blog (alexstjohn.com) has been down for like two years. Anyone know if he's thinking about bringing it back? It had an amazing amount of inside information about Microsoft during the 90s. It was really a fantastic read, although I'm guessing Mr. St. John is a bit of an unreliable narrator (since the moral of every story seemed to be that St. John and his coworkers were awesome geniuses)

Also, I'm no author, but if someone wants to fill out this page a little they can get some info on Mr. St. John from "Opening the Xbox: Inside Microsoft's Plan to Unleash an Entertainment Revolution" by Dean Takahashi — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2409:10:D5A1:9F00:B502:6F92:E105:2873 (talk) 14:08, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
