Merge proposal

[edit]

Support the 2020 proposal to merge Carson Site to here; the same place is being described. Klbrain (talk) 09:09, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Support, although after looking at the other article, I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better just to delete it (the other one, not this older, better referenced and better written one) rather than merging. The Carson Site article reads like a sixth graders history class essay, and at about a C- level at that. It is inaccurate and badly written, and doesn't seem to contain any real information not already in the Carson Mounds article. Heiro 15:44, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, redirecting it might be a better option, so per BOLD, I just did. Heiro 15:52, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unexplained removal of "Stovall"

[edit]

An anonymous edit in 2018 (see here) changed the name of the site from "Carson-Montgomery-Stovall" to "Carson-Montgomery-" and removed another mention of the Stovall family. I'm tempted to revert the edit as unexplained content removal, but I don't have access to any of the sources for the "Carson-Montgomery-Stovall" name. Does anyone have a better idea of whether this edit was vandalism? SimLibrarian (talk) 09:07, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
