The biography by Ron Wynn on Bobby Donaldson in the allmusic.com website stated, "He played with bands in his Boston hometown duing the early '40s, then with Russell Procope during his army service in the New York area." There are no other mentions of military service found as of yet in NewspaperArchive, Fold3 (good source or primary documents), and Newspapers.com. These online databases include multiple resources from the World War II era. Search terms used: "Bobby Donaldson", "Robert Donaldson", "Robert S. Donaldson", and "Robert Stanley Donaldson". Accordingly, "Category:United States Army soldiers" is removed from the article until better sourcing is found. The content should include rank and positions held, duty stations, and more specific dates of service. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 14:30, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
