External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Journey to the Past. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20110711170642/http://www.hiphoppopandrnbstop.com/2009/08/video-vault-aaliyah-journey-to-past.html to http://www.hiphoppopandrnbstop.com/2009/08/video-vault-aaliyah-journey-to-past.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).

Extra bits
[edit]I remember watching an Anastasia featurette, where Liz Calloway said something along the lines of her not being pretty enough or famous enough to be the speaking voice of Anastasia, so their only used her for the singing. If you can get access to a DVD copy of the film, you should find this snippet somewhere.
I also found this clip, that shows Meg Ryan taking credit for Calloway's singing around 2:20. These two anecdotes reveal a bit about what it mustve been like to be a ghost artist for a singer, which I think is interesting.--Coin945 (talk) 03:38, 23 November 2017 (UTC)
Aaliyah's version release date
[edit]@OkIGetIt20: Discogs is a far more reliable source than Amazon; Discogs states that the single was first released in 1997. Ellokk (talk) 23:31, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
Aaliyah's performance at Academy Awards
[edit]The mention from an external source that Aaliyah was the youngest performer at the Academy Awards is incorrect. Michael Jackson was 15 when he sang "Ben" on the telecast in 1973. Jodie Foster and Johnny Whitaker were also 15 when they sang together on the 1974 telecast. Jeffswim (talk) 02:59, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
