January 24, 2024 page move

[edit]

This page shouldn't have been moved until a new team name is announced. Updating for the sale was appropriate, but the move should have waited until we know where it should be moved to.

In the Infobox, I blanked the nicknames parameter because it was being used incorrectly for actual team names. I also restored the GM and manager names because I see no source saying that they've changed.

I replaced the team's press release as a source with an article published in the Lexington Herald-Leader.

I reverted section heading to "2023 name change" and did likewise for "2024 sale and name change" per MOS:SECTIONCAPS: Use sentence case, not title case, capitalization in all section headings. Capitalize the first character of the first element if it is a letter, but leave the rest lower case except for proper names and other items that would ordinarily be capitalized in running text.

I removed the text trying to say what we don't know about the name change because it was vague, unsupported, and likely to valid for less than three weeks.
