[edit]The facts of this article have been checked abd found to be correct.
- Checked by whom? Besides, it's still poorly written and poorly linked. Seriously needs cleanip. -- Necrothesp 15:07, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
Article veracity
[edit]The article looks factually accurate to me. Reggie Oliver's attendance at Eton and Oxford can be validated as can his authorship of the plays and books cited. Perhaps the article could be split down into separate paragrpahs and indexed better but it seems factually OK to me.
Cleanup, Lack of References, and NPOV problems
[edit]Recent edits seem to have taken care of all previously noted cleanup, lack of references, and NPOV issues. If others agree, the tags should be removed.-Hal Raglan 18:48, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit]I'll leave it to someone else to decide whether my edits should be put back or not. It does seem like the first part of the article should have some kind of organization and not be treated as an extension of the lead. As far as the external links go, links to publishers' websites that are not specifically about the author in question do not seem particularly helpful--and if people want more information about Stella Gibbons, they should follow the wikilink; external links about Gibbons would be most usefully placed there.
Finally, I'm aware that it's been suggested that 172.141.95.71 is Christopher Barker, and I have no idea whether that's the case or not; my removal of 172's mention of Barker was based not on it being a vanity edit but on the fact that we don't usually mention the name of small-press editors who publish authors. Oh--if it's Reggie Oliver's website, that's very different. Still don't see the value of links to his publisher's home pages, though. !Nareek 01:26, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
