Another great and recent source/reference is the book 'A Disposition to Be Rich' by Geoffery C. Ward, the great- grandson of Ferd Ward of the house of Grant & Ward...Grant was Ulysses S. "Buck" Grant, Jr....Ferd Ward was a swindler and ... well, read the book.
