Name change
[edit]This school is never referred to UIUC GSLIS, just GSLIS. If the name of the university is needed, then GSLIS at UI is used. Thus, The name of the article should be changed, right? Mstuomel (talk) 00:48, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

UIUC Graduate School of Library and Information Science → School of Information Sciences (Illinois) – School officially changed its name. – ChristyRGG (talk) 18:16, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
- @ChristyRGG and Andy M. Wang: This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:03, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
- There is no other School of Information Sciences. Except I think the article title should be University of Illinois School of Information Sciences per University of Pittsburgh School of Information Sciences precedence. Likely needs further discussion. — Andy W. (talk · ctb) 19:11, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
- Likely many schools and colleges etc teach information sciences under various names. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:02, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
- Support, but... it should be titled UIUC School of Information Sciences to be consistent among the other UIUC schools and colleges articles. Corkythehornetfan 06:33, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, for consistency, this suggestion above makes sense. — Andy W. (talk · ctb) 16:26, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
