Fair use rationale for Image:AlexKelly.jpg

[edit]

Image:AlexKelly.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Break up

[edit]

i have recently just watched series 2 of the OC, having never watched it before, and forgive me if i am wrong, but is Alex's breakup with Marissa not because Marissa falls back in love with Ryan, but because Alex is jealous of their friendship, and realisation that Marissa never actually fell out of love with Ryan. or am i wrong?? 77.101.18.129 (talk) 22:16, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Quality

[edit]

This page is terrible. A lot of it is an unnecessary plot summary, and it is riddled with grammatical or spelling mistakes and inconsistencies. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.234.160.76 (talk) 06:25, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect?

[edit]

Although I took the liberty of redirecting other O.C. character articles to the List of The O.C. characters on the grounds that they relied solely on primary sources, or even NO sources, instead of bringing them to AFD like I did with all those One Tree Hill character articles, I'm following the advice of Shoessss and opening discussions for redirecting this article as well here. As was the case with all those other articles, this one relies solely on a primary source, which would be fine if this was The O.C. Wiki but it's not. This is Wikipedia. Per Shoessss' advice I will wait one week to see if anyone has any reasonable objections and (better yet) establishes notability for this subject before I redirect it. With that, I now open the floor to any and all comments with regards to the matter of redirecting this article to the list. Shaneymike (talk) 16:20, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Here are some sources on the subject, (123456789101112). Most of these sources are relatively minor references to the character (mostly about her relationship with Marissa), so a merge/redirect to the List of The O.C. characters is probably the best option. The character does not a section on the page so one will have to be created with some of the information from here. Aoba47 (talk) 17:14, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Feel free to redirect the articles as the histories are saved and can be referenced by future editors. In the future, I may work on two paragraphs on the character for the list (the first on her storylines in the show, and the second about her casting and reception). I am currently taking a break from new projects though so it would not be for a while. Aoba47 (talk) 18:16, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

More sources

[edit]

[1], [2], [3], [4], [5] and [6] - Putting these here for future article expansion DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 16:52, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I feel like the two listicles are pretty bereft of anything useable, and I wouldn't support the addition of any content from the "viewpoint" article from vogue given its almost total focus on the author's self-reflection than on anything to do with the character. As for the People article I'm not sure how much can be gleaned from "actress shared photo of past character, this character was on this show." XeCyranium (talk) 19:18, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
