There has been much discussion on this topic in the respective talk pages over the years but no clear sign of action so I boldly recommend transferring the redirects to the vastly better sourced and more professional article, Visual snow syndrome over the current redirect Closed-eye hallucination. The current CEH page is very interesting but extremely poorly sourced and seems to contain original research. In an off-site discussion on Reddit and in the talk page for CEH there is a lot of doubt over the discussions on "Levels", no one seems to be familiar with the model so it suggests that it may be original research or the research of a single source (a poet). I can understand why a former editor may have wished to direct non-pathological visual snow to the CEH page but I feel like it's quality simply doesn't justify that.

What drove me to actually bother putting in the work is this particular thread, "Level 4" in the talk page wherein a number of readers share their fears that they may be mentally ill because they experience one of these hallucinations without having used drugs. They aren't, they are just sleepy. But the detail and authority of the model purported in the article implies that this is generally accepted and not just some rando's trip report. The article is causing mental anguish to its readers and not providing the proper sources to alleviate them, I'm not sure there is a WP:DONOHARM but it feels appropriate. Neither myself nor anyone who has raised this issue is an expert in this field but no one has spoken in its defense despite a decade's worth of pleas for expert advice. I might seriously trim CEH, maybe keep the gifs but do some serious cutting to what the sources can support but I think the first and easiest step to resolving this is to simply send redirects to the better article. I tried doing that on my own, had a bit of trouble and then found this Wizard.
