William Scull is a professional boxer born in Cuba and fighting out of Berlin, Germany. He is currently the #1 ranked contender for the IBF super-middleweight title.[2]

Professional career

Scull turned pro in 2016. After winning the first 22 fights of his career, he is the mandatory challenger of Canelo Alvarez.[3] However, Alvarez decided not to fight Scull and to relenquish the IBF belt instead. Scull will ordered to fight the #2 ranked contender Vladimir Shishkin for the IBF super-middleweight title.[4]
