Italicised stations?

[edit]

What is the meaning of the italics used for some stations? Nurg (talk) 01:35, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, I am also wondering... will remove them if no answer provided in a few months. Ingolfson (talk) 09:32, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The stations that are not in italics refers to the stage points on the network (e.g. Britomart, Newmarket, Kingsland, Mt Albert, et al for the Western line). Stations in italics refers to stations in between stage points (e.g. Boston Road and Mt Eden stations -- which are between the Newmarket and Kingsland stage points). This is consistent with how the stations are presented to the public via timetables and other such documents. James Pole (talk) 01:11, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Due to the new zonal fares introduce in August 2016, stations will be italicised to reflect zone points.Ajf773 (talk) 06:50, 10 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
