Use of this category
[edit]The placement of articles in this and related categories was rather confused. I have reorganized them on the following basis:
- Category:Musa (genus) – use for articles on the wild species within the genus Musa (and the genus itself)
- Category:Bananas – use this and its subcategories for articles on cultivated bananas and plantains and their uses.
As Category:Bananas is a subcategory of Category:Musa (genus), articles should not be placed in both of them. Peter coxhead (talk) 12:29, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
