Possibly because "Division Leaders" and "Wild Card Standings" aren't read as listed parameters but as text, the view-talk-edit links ordinarily found in box templates (including division standings) don't appear in Wild Card Standings boxes (which makes editing a sort of PITA). Can anything be done about this? Solicitr (talk) 22:51, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The problem was that the name of the standings template couldn't be easily determined from the parameters to the MLB standings template, so I didn't include the links in the original implementation. I tried to figure out how to get the page name passed into the underlying Lua module, but had no luck. So for now, I've added a parameter, "template_name", that can be used to specify the name of the standings template. See the documentation for an example, and Template:2013 AL Wild Card standings or Template:2013 NL Wild Card standings. isaacl (talk) 02:09, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion regarding table width and font

See discussion I started at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Baseball#Template:MLB standings look a bit broken now. Wikipedia's new standard font size has more or less ruined the current format. Spesh531(talk, contrib., ext.) 14:47, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
