Chidipothu Manohar (born September 5, 1990), known professionally as Siddam Manohar, is an Indian cinematographer and screenplay writer recognized for his contributions to the Telugu and Kannada film industries.

Early Life

Manohar was born on September 5, 1990, in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. Despite financial constraints, he pursued higher studies in B.A. Political Science after attending YV Municipal Corporation High School. Alongside his academic pursuits, Manohar actively engaged in student politics, aligning himself successively with the Student Federation Union (SFI) and the Progressive Democratic Students Union (PDSU)

Education

He holds a degree in Multimedia with a specialization in video editing from the National Academy of Media Education (NAME). Additionally, he obtained a diploma in Film Technology from the esteemed Film and Television Institute of Hyderabad (FTIH).

Career

Manohar ventured into the film industry in 2012, marking the start of a promising career. His contributions began with the acclaimed short film Mr. and Miss, earning accolades at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA)[1]. His roles expanded to assistant cinematographer for Ko Antey Koti (2012) and operative cameraman for notable films like Mahanati (2018) and Jagannatakam (2015)

His diverse expertise includes serving as an additional cinematographer for films such as Narayana and Co (2021) and GangStars (2018). As a cinematographer, Manohar led notable projects including Raavana Kalyanam (2022)[2], Nachindhi Girl Friendu (2022), GD (2021), and Jathiratnalu (2021) .
