Texas Gospel Music Hall of Fame

Some editor has suggested this article should be removed because the main source is the Texas Gospel Music Hall of Fame. The irony of the objection is truly noteworthy. The national Gospel Music Association is the singular source of factual information regarding the Dove Awards and the GMA Hall of Fame. The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences is the singular source of data regarding the Grammy Awards. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is the singular source of data regarding the membership of it’s Hall of Fame; therefore, the Texas GMA should be the authoritative source for information regarding the Texas Gospel Music Hall of Fame.

I will locate old newspaper articles to support this page, but in point of fact, it is unnecessary since the issuing agent will be the Texas GMA. I see this editor is on a crusade to improve sources for Hall of Fame pages nationwide. It seems the best source would be the Hall of Fame itself. JMA1984 (talk) 20:13, 22 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The tag isn't about supporting the individual inductions. This page needs reliable third party sources that are about the Hall of Fame, not about the people that might be inducted there. Without those sources the article could possibly be deleted as nonnotable. - MrOllie (talk) 10:59, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
