The World Masters League T20 is a franchise-based cricket tournament which is scheduled to begin with its first edition in 2024.[1] It will feature former international cricket players,[2][3] headlined by India's Suresh Raina and West Indies' Chris Gayle.[4] The competition was announced in April 2024,[5] with 6 teams slated to play 19 matches against each other during the tournament.[6]
The first edition is scheduled to start in August 2024 in South Africa, with the matches being held at the Kingsmead Cricket Ground in Durban.[7]
Players
The players for each participating team were slated to be determined via a players' draft for the first season in July 2024.[8] As of July 2024[update], the players confirmed to be involved in the tournament are:[9][10]

Teams
The names of the participating teams were announced in July 2024, alongside World Masters League CEO Rajeev Mishra's announcement of the tournament venue.[11]
