Survivor 47 is the upcoming forty-seventh season of the American competitive reality television series Survivor. It will premiere on September 18, 2024, on CBS in the United States, and will be the fifteenth consecutive season to be filmed in the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji.[2]
Production
On December 15, 2023, Manoa Kamikamica, the Fijian Minister of Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport, announced that the Fijian Parliament had renewed it contract with Survivor for an additional two years.[3] A preview for the season was released on May 22, 2024, right after the finale of Survivor 46 was aired.[4]
Contestants
All 18 of the castaways competing on Survivor 47 have been revealed since the airing of the promo which was released on May 24, 2024.[5] Notable castaways this season include current podcaster at Rob Has a Podcast Aysha Welch,[6] Miss Delaware USA 2018 Sierra Wright,[7] and comedian and podcaster from Pod Save America Jon Lovett.[8]
