The Else is the twelfth studio album by rock duo They Might Be Giants. The album was produced in part by The Dust Brothers, along with Pat Dillett and the band, and released in 2007.

The Else was given an experimental release schedule, available for download on the iTunes Store on May 15, 2007. The CD version will be released in stores on July 10, accompanied (at least initially) by a full-length bonus disc of rarities.[1]

Reception

Within a day of its initial release on iTunes, the album reached #1 on the US iTunes Alternative Albums charts [2] and #12 on the overall charts, rising up to #11 a day later. [3]
