Jodi Arnold
Artistry and a life-long passion are intricately woven into Jodi Arnold’s work. As a child, her affinity for sewing and design thrived and brought her from the warm streets of Birmingham, Alabama to the bustling streets of New York City. Here, Jodi realized her dreams and, over a cup of tea in Paris, conceived the brand MINT jodi arnold which debuted in 1999.
The collection combines the construction and elegant finishing techniques inherent to vintage couture garments. Mint jodi arnold represents an alluring perspective to women’s fashion: edginess with a wearable and accessible element.
In 2000, Jodi received the prestigious Innovators Award from the Cotton Council of America, and appeared on the fashion television program, Main Floor.
“My inspiration is as varied as our customer. She has drinks with her girlfriends at a new boutique hotel in Miami, relaxes over Sunday afternoon tea in Jakarta, or listens to jazz in Fort Green, Brooklyn. My inspiration is not from concrete places, eras, or art. It is just a feeling that comes from my surroundings and the desire to continually evolve the collection.”
