Zayed Khan (born April 27 1980, India) is an Indian Bollywood actor.

Biography

Early life

Zayed Khan is Pathan and a Muslim. His parents are Bollywood actor Sanjay Khan and Zarine Khan. He has three sisters: Suzanne Roshan, who is married to the Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan; Simone Khan; and Farah Khan, not to be confused with the eponymous Indian director and choreographer. His cousin is Fardeen Khan, also a Bollywood actor. His childhood friend is Esha Deol.

He studied at Welham Boys' School, Dehradun and the Kodaikanal International School, Kodaikanal. He also studied in the UK.

Career

Khan debuted in the 2003 film Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne with actress Esha Deol. The film did not do well at the box office. However, he rose to fame with Farah Khan's Main Hoon Na (2004), where he co-starred with Shahrukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, and Amrita Rao. In Main Hoon Na, he played a big-man-on-campus college student named Lucky. His following release Dus (2005) also did well at the box office.[1]

In 2004, Khan went on an international touring stage show, "Rockstars", with Esha Deol, John Abraham, Shahid Kapoor, Mallika Sherawat, and Salman Khan.[2]

Personal life

He married his longtime girlfriend Malaika Parekh on November 20, 2005.[3]
