Jeffree Star (b. Jeffrey Steininger[1], November 15 1985) is an internet celebrity. Known for his music and his appearance (the male celebrity is a cross-dresser [2] who dubs himself "Queen of the Internet"[3]), he first gained notoriety on MySpace, and has since toured with Peaches and Cyndi Lauper.[2][3] A reality show featuring Star is in development.[4] Star is also an in demand Los Angeles make-up artist who has worked with Davey Havok and Kelly Osbourne[2].
On June 24 2007, Jeffrey was banned from Toronto's Gay Pride Parade after punching an innocent female fan in the face after mistaking her for a woman throwing beer bottles onstage. [5]
