Pete Sheppard (b. March 26, 1967 in Providence, Rhode Island) is an Italian-American radio host, currently broadcasting on WEEI 850-AM in Boston. A graduate of of Bishop Hendricken High School in Rhode Island and the Connecticut School of Broadcasting (Class of 1987), Sheppard began on WEEI as a part-time host in 1994. After success, he was granted his own show with Jon Wallach on the weekends in 1997. Finally, since 1999, he has been a regular on The Big Show, delivering sporting news updates and filling in during the summertime when regular host for when the Big O is on vacation in an undisclosed location.

In addition to his Big Show duties, Sheppard is a co-host of The Real Postgame Show, a New England Patriots wrap-up show that follows each game on WEEI. The show features former Patriots and Boston College players Fred Smerlas and Steve DeOssie. The show competes directly with Gary Tanguay & Company, the post-game show on the broadcast rightsholder for the team, the Patriots Rock Radio Network.

Sheppard has appeared on Fox Sports New England several times in recent years.

Personal

Pete Sheppard resides on the South Shore with his wife, Diane, and his dogs, Tiki and Torch. He is an avid fan of Boston sports, playing video games, "hanging with Captain Morgan", and Star Trek.
