Psili Ammos (Greek : Ψιλή Άμμος) , which means Fine Sand is a small community on Salamis Island . The area is thus named because it is covered with sand. The area is located at the northwest of the island . The area is opposite of Elefsina. In the area there is one of the oldest landmarks, a church building of island , the chantry of Saint Grigorios (Saint Gregory).
