Sharisse "Shar" Jackson (born September 4 1976) is an American television and film actress, perhaps best known for her portrayal of Niecy Jackson on the UPN show Moesha.

Jackson has had small roles in television shows, including UPN's Girlfriends and The Bernie Mac Show. She co-starred in the Nickelodeon movie Good Burger, with Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson, and her film roles include Love & Basketball.

Jackson is of African American and Native American descent on her mother's side, and of Puerto Rican and Mexican descent on her father's side. She has two children with her former high school boyfriend – a son, Donnie, born in 1991, and a daughter, Cassie, born in 1995. She was in a relationship with dancer Kevin Federline, who later married and divorced pop singer Britney Spears. She has two children with Federline – a daughter, Kori, born July 31 2002, and a son, Kaleb, born July 20 2004. Jackson was pregnant with Kaleb when Federline met Spears, and Kaleb was born while Federline was engaged to Spears.

Jackson is said to have few feelings about Spears, the ex-wife of her children's father, and has reportedly said that she is relieved the two have divorced so she and her children no longer have to field questions about the pair.

In June 2007, Star Magazine and the New York Post reported that Jackson was again pregnant with Federline's baby.[1] Jackson denied the reports in an interview with US Weekly,[2] and is now pursuing legal action stating "When my kids hear things at school and then ask me if they're getting a new brother or sister, I have to put my foot down.[3]

Current projects

Jackson was featured on the ABC reality series The Ex-Wives Club with Marla Maples and Angie Everhart. The show aimed to aid men and women who have recently gone through separation or divorce.

Currently she is seen on the MTV reality show Celebrity Rap Superstar. Jackson's first performance on the show, to Eve's single "Tambourine", was met by positive reviews from the show's three judges, Da Brat, DMC, and Big Boy. Da Brat commented that her children could say "At least my momma knows how to rap!", which was a blatant pot shot at Kevin Federline's rap "career."[citation needed]

Jackson has roles in two films due out in 2007 and is scheduled to work in another currently in pre-production.

Jackson is scheduled to appear on episode 3 of Everybody Hates Chris' 3rd season, airing on October 15th, 2007. [1]
