'Empezar Desde Cero' is RBD's fourth studio album in Spanish. During the first worldwide "RBD Day" press conference, on October 4, 2007, RBD confirmed the name and said it's going to be released in November. Later it was confimed that it will be released on November 20, 2007, one year after their third spanish album Celestial was released.

The first single is Inalcanzable and was released to worldwide radio stations on October 8, 2007. The tracklist of the album was confirmed by OpenDisc and "Sueles Volver" composed by Christopher Uckermannand Si no estas aqui by Alfonso Herrera appear on it. Sueles Volver leaked to internet before the album was announced. Also, it's been said that Dulce Maria has written a few other songs for the album.

It was rumored that "Tal Vez Mañana" a song composed by Maite Perroni would be in the album but in the tracklist it doesnt appear. Maite sings "Tal Vez Mañana" at concerts in the Tour Celestial 2007.
