Dig, Lazarus, Dig! is the fourteenth studio album by international alternative rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. No song titles are currently known. [1] The album was recorded in June and July of 2007 and is scheduled for a March 2008 release. It will be the third Bad Seeds studio album without Blixa Bargeld and the first to be released since the Bad Seeds side project Grinderman released their eponymous album. In several interviews Cave has stated that this album will 'sound like Grinderman'[2], implying a garage rock sound. Whether this will be in addition to or as well as the choral and orchestral arrangements which the recent Bad Seeds albums are renowned for is unknown. The album will be accompanied by a 'gigantic' tour which will not include the United States.
