she's hot :)

== She was also one HELL of a snare drummer with both the Spirit of Atlanta and Blue Devils drum corps....winning the drum title with Blue Devils in 1984 (one of only two girls in the battery out of 9 snares, 5 tenors, and 5 basses...the other girl was in the cymbal line) under the instruction of drum corps legend, Tom Float.

I marched with her in Blue Devils...didn't get to know her too well because I was in the horn line.

haha, i'm sure you were! ooh matron.

Heh....there was the end of one run thru we did in the early season. At that time, the battery ended up on the front sideline, with the brass in an arc behind them. We finish and the everyone's told to relax. The battery takes their drums off (they were mounted on rigid harnesses that slipped over their shoulders) and Carla bent over at the waist to put her drum down. Suffice to say that the guys in the horn line TRULY appreciated the Dolphin shorts so many young women wore in the early 80s!!!

I seem to recall she drove a red Firebird at the time as well....hot indeed!
