"Home" is an original single by Canadian jazz musician Michael Bublé taken from his number one album It's Time. The song has been well received across the world, being performed by Bublé on many occasions.[1] The song was written by Bublé himself, along with Alan Chang and Amy Foster-Gillies. It also featured in the film The Wedding Date, starring Debra Messing.

Westlife version

Westlife released a cover version of "Home" on October 29 2007 which is included on their ninth studio album, Back Home. Westlife's version differs slightly in their lyrical arrangement as compared to Michael Bublé's. Simon Cowell chose this song for the band.

A short snippet of the recorded track was used on an X Factor episode prior to the first airplay of this single. Local radio station, Dublin's Q102, received exclusive airplay of the single on September 14 from Westlife's manager, Louis Walsh.

The official artwork for the single was released on September 28, while the single's music video was made available online on October 5.

The music video[2] for this single was mainly shot in Los Angeles, USA, with the remaining portion shot back in the UK.

A short preview of the video was posted on the band's official website on October 5th. The full video was made available during the later part of the day on The Box.
