Mark Freiburger (born July 16, 1983 in Roanoke, Virginia) is an American filmmaker. Freiburger grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and attended the North Carolina School of the Arts where he studied Directing [1]. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
Film Work
- Recently completed his feature directorial debut with the 2007 independent feature Dog Days of Summer starring Will Patton, Richard Herd Devon Gearhart, Colin Ford and Megan Blake.
- Directed the 2005 short film, Booth, a fictional and magical realist portrayal of the events surrounding the assassination of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth. The film was written by screenwriters Travis Beacham and Christopher J. Waild. The film premiered in 2005 at the Directors Guild of America Theater in Los Angeles, California[2].
