Dadeland Mall is a large enclosed shopping mall located in Kendall, Florida. The mall is currently owned and operated by the Simon Property Group and opened on October 1, 1962 as a small outdoor shopping center, but was remodeled over the years into an enclosed regional mall.

When Dadeland opened as an open-air center, the anchors were Burdines and Jordan Marsh. At the time, the center also boasted a Food Fair grocery store, full-service drug store (Gray Drugs) and upscale cafeteria (the Forum).

A massive construction project eventually doubled the mall by twinning it (leaving the huge Burdines in the middle), with J.C. Penney at the eastern end. A feature of this expansion was the opening of the King of the Mall, an enormous Burger King (whose corporate headquarters were then located across from Dadeland on North Kendall Drive).

Today, Dadeland's anchors include Florida's largest Macy's (Macy's Florida's flagship store), as well as Macy's Home Gallery & Kids, J.C. Penney, Saks Fifth Avenue, The Limited, and Nordstrom.

Dadeland Mall's largest restaurants are Puccini & Pasta and The Cheesecake Factory.

The mall attained notoriety as the site of a 1979 drug-related shooting spree during Miami's "cocaine cowboy" era.

The outer part of the mall, particularly the original main entrance, was featured in the 1985 Chuck Norris film "Invasion USA". The inside and outside of the mall was featured in the 1990 Alec Baldwin film "Miami Blues". The mall has been remodeled since both of those films however.
