This article is insufficently referenced. Also, some ofthe few references that are there incorrectly reflected the content of the reference. I tried to reword some sentences to more correctly reflect the referenced information. One link went to an error page so I removed it.

How to say it

I am a life long resident of SE Louisiana specifically Covington. The correct way to say this word is Ponchatrain the first r is silent.208.54.14.95 (talk) 00:47, 10 February 2008 (UTC)Vesago78[reply]
