Appearance
Template:Current-GCOTW Intelligent Systems (formerly known as R&D1) is a video game developer and internal team of Nintendo Co., Ltd. Intelligent Systems is known for creating some of the most well-received Nintendo franchises, including Metroid, Kid Icarus, Nintendo Wars, Paper Mario, and Fire Emblem. Under the lead of Gunpei Yokoi they also created and developed the Game Boy video game handheld. In the past they have also designed many of Nintendo's development tools including the Super Nintendo Emulator SE.
Intelligent Systems currently focuses on Game Boy and GameCube development in addition to developing games for all of Nintendo's current handhelds and consoles.

- Soccer - A soccer game. Allows you to play as different countries, ranging from Japan to America to Germany.
- Golf - A golf game.
- Tennis - A tennis game.
- Metroid
- Kid Icarus
- Duck Hunt - A shooting game, where you and your dog went hunting for ducks, using the Zapper Gun.
- Hogan's Alley
- Donkey Kong - The first appearance of Mario and Donkey Kong, and one of the few of Pauline. The series was a joint effort between Shigeru Miyamoto and Gunpei Yokoi.
- Famicom Wars (Japan Only) - The first game in the Wars series, never released in America.
- Fire Emblem (Japan Only)

- Mario Bros. - A joint development between Miyamoto and Yokoi.
Super Nintendo Entertainment System
- Super Famicom Wars (Japan Only) - The sequel to the Japan only turn-based strategy game.
- Super Metroid - The third, and arguably most popular, entry in the Metroid series.
- Panel de Pon (Japan Only) - A puzzle game starring a young girl named Lip. It was released in the United States under the name Tetris Attack, and rereleased in the Japan only Nintendo Puzzle Collection.
- Tetris Attack - The American adaptation of Panel de Pon, using characters from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Starred Yoshi and Little Yoshi in various quests against Bowser and his minions in order to save their friends, doing puzzle fights between them and the enemies.
- Battle Clash - Known as Space Bazooka in Japan. It uses the Super Scope accessory.
- Fire Emblem: Monshou no Nazo (Japan only) - Contains a remake of and sequel to the original Fire Emblem game.
- Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu (Japan only) - Touted as the most successful entry in the Fire Emblem series in Japan, it spans two generations of characters, starring Sigurd in the first half and Celice in the second half. Widely played through emulation outside Japan, hence an import classic, since the release of Super Smash Bros. Melee.
- Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 (Japan only) - The very last game ever released for the Super Famicom/SNES. It takes place between chapters 5 and 6 of Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu.
- Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge - Battle Clash's sequel, it improves on its precedessor's gameplay and presentation.
Nintendo 64
- Paper Mario - The quasi-sequel to Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, featuring a new Paper style of visuals, and new style of gameplay.
- Pokémon Puzzle League
- 64 Wars (Cancelled) - The Nintendo 64 sequel to Game Boy Wars. Not much is known about it, and never was released.
- Fire Emblem 64 (Cancelled) - The Nintendo 64 installment in the Fire Emblem series. No screenshots were released, and it was cancelled.
- Metroid 64 (Cancelled) - The Nintendo 64 installment in the Metroid series. No screenshots were released, and it was cancelled.

- Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door - The sequel to Paper Mario.
