Boserupian is totally different to Malthusian, her view has a positive impact on the population growth. She believed that population grwoth causes agricultural growth because when something(food) starts to run out we will ;invent' or innovate our way to solve the problem. For example, human invented farming because we were starting to run out of hunted food. Thedrefore population growth can cause the running out of food but also make human invent something new which makes human more civilised. Neo-Malthusian argued that Boserupian totally ignore the environmental impact of population and agricultural growth. (Edited by Felix Leung)

There is another 'Boserup' document

Which is better, but not linked with other languages. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ester_B%C3%B6serup —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.166.160.33 (talk) 14:47, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

--Ludo86 (talk) 13:53, 23 February 2008 (UTC)== ester böserup ==[reply]

i would like to know why there is a page called ester böserup which is definitedly a wrong spelling for boserup. i also would like to know why people suggested merging a correctly spelled name page to an incorrectly spelled one, and why someone even redirected it to the wrongly spelled one claiming it to be the proper way to spell it. i am not in condition to judge the contents of both articles, unless it is obvious nonsense. if there is some important information in the böserup page which does not occur in the boserup one, please do a proper editing by boserup. the böserup page should not exist altoghether. is there any way to delete it, as is referring to boserup in its contents and only creates confusion. i see the existence of such a page as vandalism. correct me if i am mistaken. it is enough to look at her books to confirm that i am right about the spelling. if some not danish editor has a fantasy vision on how danish names should be spelled they should check first. thank you for your help in cleaning up the mess this is causing, all the best ludo86 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ludo86 (talkcontribs) 13:48, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

== böserup versus boserup i think someone should try to merge the info from the ester boserup page with the ester böserup one, whitout messing up the spelling again. Böserup is wrong, period. sadly i am not competent to contribute to more than that. is there anyone out there willing to take care that the ester boserup page really is as informative and serious as possible? and please stop with the silly vandalism, whoever you are. get a life! cheers--Ludo86 (talk) 21:53, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
