Final Fantasy III Yūkyū no Kaze Densetsu (ファイナルファンタジーIII 悠久の風伝説, Fainaru Fantajī Surī Yūkyū no Kaze Densetsu, lit. Final Fantasy III Legend of the Eternal Wind) is an arranged soundtrack album of video game music Final Fantasy III. The album contains a selection of musical tracks from the game, arranged for vocals and performed by Nobuo Uematsu, vocals are performed by Dido, a duo of Michiaki Kato and Shizuru Ohtaka. It spans 7 tracks and covers a duraction of 52:30. It was first released on May 25, 1990, by Polystar and subsequently re-released on March 25, 1994, by Polystar. The original release bears the catalog number PSCX-1005, and the re-release bears the catalog number PSCR-5252.
Unlicensed pirate duplicates of the disc were produced by several companies. Because most of these discs tend to be price more cheaply than their official counterpart, they frequently appear in the North American and European import market. The most prominent manufacturers of these discs are SonMay, catalog number GAME-019, and EverAnime, catalog number GM-202.
Final Fantasy III Original Soundtrack
Final Fantasy III Original Soundtrack is a soundtrack album of video game music from the remake of Final Fantasy III developed by Square Enix for the Nintendo DS. The album contains 61 musical tracks from the game, originally composed by Nobuo Uematsu in 1990 and rearranged by Tsuyoshi Sekito and Keiji Kawamori, as well as two remixes, one from the Black Mages band and the other by muZik. Also included in this album is a DVD containing the opening FMV sequence of the game, a promotion video made for the game, and an interview with the game's staff. It was released on September 20, 2006 by Square Enix Co., Ltd. The original release bears the catalog number SQEX-10076.
