Homework
Kelly, do you have access to a local bookstore or library? If I recommended a book, would you be willing to take a look at it? If you can tell me your zip code, I can tell you the closest library that has it. --Elonka 01:32, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
- My daughter owes many fees at the local library so that isn't an option but I work near a Barnes and Noble and I have an Amazon Prime account. KellyAna (talk) 01:38, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
- Have you ever heard the expression, "This book changed my life"? Well, there's a book that changed mine. I think you might find it illuminating. I've recommended it occasionally to other people, and they have usually come back to me the next day with reactions like, "OMG, I got that book and read it straight through in one night. Wow." It's an easy read. Written by a woman, for women, but I have occasionally recommended it to men as well, and have gotten similar reactions about how the book really gave them insight into other people's thought processes. What makes people do what they do.
- It's pretty widely published, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding a copy. Doesn't matter which edition you get, new or used. But I think you'd get a lot out of it, as I did: The Dance of Anger, by Harriet Lerner.[1] You can probably buy a copy for download, though personally, I prefer holding a book in my hands. There's something about the feel of turning pages that I find comforting, even if a computer screen might be brighter and easier to see. Call me old-fashioned. ;) But whichever format works for you, go for it. --Elonka 01:45, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Grant Chuggle now on LTA
To bring back a brief blast from what I hope will always remain the past, I have taken the trouble to create an entry at LTA for Grant, in case he returns. This way you can include the link with any AIV report to save the trouble of explaining him to another admin. Daniel Case (talk) 20:18, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Civility
Your latest comments have been far far past what is allowed by WP:CIVIL. It stops, now. One more rude comment, and it's another block. --Elonka 03:19, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- Which one are you even talking about? You need to link, which you didn't, and you need to stop abusing your power based on personal opinion. I've never had problems until you came along and I highly suspect, based on many things I've seen, you are good at abusing your blocking power. 03:23, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- You are blocked for 12 hours. Diffs will be up in a moment. --Elonka 03:30, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- Elonka, once I'm "unblocked" I'm reporting you for abuse of power. I haven't done anything but you've abused your "power" by blocking me when I've tried to talk AND I have obvious proof you are vindictive towards me for no reason. You have had trouble before, this should add to your past trouble since this is the second personal attack you waged for no reason.KellyAna (talk) 03:35, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

The following comments are unacceptable, and violations of the Wikipedia policies on incivility and personal attacks.[2][3][4] Incivility is unacceptable, both in comments, and also in edit summaries.[5] And that's just in the last hour.
You have been warned repeatedly about this,[6][7][8][9] and even blocked,[10] but the warnings do not appear to be sinking in. Today, again, when I told you to stop,[11] you did not.[12] Your account access has been blocked for 12 hours. --Elonka 03:45, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- And you're violating MANY, MANY policies not allowing me the opportunity to request unblock. I really can't wait to report you as I know I've seen you reported before. You can't even show where I violated policy and you are basing you block on personal opinion and can't even show my violation. This should be fun when I'm unblocked because all your blocks of my account are definitively personal and I know your adminship has been questioned before. Do other intelligent women threaten you? And the "referenced blocks" were reversed. I cannot wait to report you. KellyAna (talk) 03:46, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- Kelly, I feel we are on fine terms now and it upsets me to see this happening. You are making it worse with the type of comments above. No matter who is "correct" in a disagreement, it is never appropriate to be hostile. It is not my place to assess your comments, but I don't think it is productive to be argumentative with anyone, editor or admin, and make such strong accusations. This situation seems to have started over minor issues and has escalated partly because of your defensive responses. You know me, I myself can't resist responding to comments (I'm doing it now) but if we start sounding mad and uncivil, we lose all credibility. I urge you to just take a 12-hour break, come back and resume editing with a positive outlook and forget Elonka completely. — TAnthonyTalk 04:05, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- Kelly, the links provided are pretty obvious violations of WP:CIVIL. If you want to avoid these kinds of issues it would make sense not to discuss other editors, and instead focus on article content. Jayjg (talk) 04:12, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

- Both blocks by Elonka appear to be justified. Many people, including several admins, have warned you and cautioned you about your civility and the fact that you appear unable to collaboratively edit. This has nothing to do with Elonka - she went much, much further than most would have in trying to get you to shape up. Without her assistance, you would surely have been blocked earlier and for a longer period of time. You should be advised that you are headed towards much longer and perhaps indefinite blocks if your behavior does not improve. You should feel free to bring this issue to WP:AN or WP:AN/I, but from experience I can tell you that your complaint will not bring you the result you desire. Avruch T 14:59, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
