Some suggestions

Keeping the precedent of other artists in mind, it would be best if Carrie Underwood's discography and awards were moved to their own articles rather than left to clutter the mother article.UberCryxic 23:25, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article is incredibly biased, it reads more like a fan's personal essay than encyclopedia page on Carrie Underwood. The article has several small words that set an unnecesarry tone for the page and apparantly argue some points. Eatspie (talk) 20:17, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I looked through the recent history of this article, and at the moment, there is not enough disruptive activity to semi-protect the page; if this page was requested for semi-protection at RFPP, it would be declined. If you read the article, you can see that Carrie Underwood's awards and nominations keeps piling up and up. The following information

Hi, I just noticed the following information in the article (but it's not showing up in 'Edit'....) Thought it might need removing.

Who's Better? - The talented country singer gave praise to Clarkson during a Grammy Party in 2006 where she said that she has made a lead and Underwood stated and wished that herself would be able to be in her shoes(Clarkson's Success). Underwood has paid through it all and made sexy slithering singles, music videos and dazzling performances that are vibrantly beautiful. Her success may have been stated as better than Clarkson's, but many disagree and prefers the beautiful competitor idol rock chick. Many fans build up rivalries and problems up to their success, but Clarkson is noted to be the most successful with chart topping singles through many different genres. Underwood has a way different sound vocally and her voice is not mature enough for songs that are more in the 'pop' style. Clarkson on the other side is very mature for any type of music/genres making her a more talented one. As Simon Cowell have said on American Idol that Clarkson is the best by a Mile from all of the other winners of American Idol. The words TV show should be added after "American Idol." Not everyone knows that American Idol is a show on American TV.

Personal life.

Last paragraph. There is a link to "New York City restaurant" that is not a proper link. It is a direct link to Carrie Underwoods professional website. The link should be removed.

Grand Ole Opry

I have removed the category "Grand Ole Opry member" twice now. Just because someone was invited to become a member of the Opry that alone doesn't make them a member. The Opry does not consider someone a member until thier induction, even if they have been invited to become a member. Carrie Underwood is not listed as a member on the Opry website and will not be considered a member of the Opry until May 10. I quit eating beef when I was somewhere between 10 and 13 because we do have cows and I did bottle feed them and stuff like that. They were like my pets. I had an incident one day that made me refuse to eat beef ever, ever again. Later on, my neighbor had pigs, and I thought they were cute, and it just kind of went on and on from there. I phased it out over a period of time. My parents were actually banding calves. I don't know if you know what that means. I'm not going to explain it to you. ... Where was she really born?

I do not know enough about Miss. Underwood, but the article lists her as having been born in "Checotah, Oklahoma" in the first sentence of the article, but "Muskogee, Oklahoma" in the "Early Life" section.
