The Secret Show is an animated show commissioned by BBC Children's in partnership with BBC Worldwide. First debuted in 2006, it currently airs on CBBC, ABC, BBC One, BBC Kids and MBC3. It debuted on the American Nicktoons Network on January 20, 2007 at 8:30 pm ET.

Details

The show stars are two secret agents, Anita Knight and Victor Volt as they try to save the world from the latest threats to civilization. They work for the secret organization, U.Z.Z, run by their commanding agent, whose name is routinely "changed daily" for reasons of security, always to an unusual or ridiculous phrase. U.Z.Z also comprises Professor Professor, whose inventions and scientific background frequently save the day; Unit Commander Agent Ray who often runs missions behind the scenes; as well as a large team of standard agents.

They frequently counter threats from their main enemy, T.H.E.M. (The Horrible Evil Menace). T.H.E.M is headed up by the evil antagonist in the series, Doctor Doctor, who is intent on taking over the world, and has her own crack team of agents who wear billiard ball-style helmets.

The show never starts as "The Secret Show" but as "The Fluffy Bunny Show", which features an old lady known as Sweet Little Granny, in a rocking chair, with a banjo and six fluffy, pink bunnies. As she begins to sing the intro for her show, agents for U.Z.Z. appear, headed by Agent Ray, and commandeer the show, always using a different method of dispatch. The Secret Show then begins, much to Sweet Little Granny's dismay. The bunnies, however, frequently appear throughout the show in unexpected places. Note that The Fluffy Bunny Show is not airing much anymore with reruns of the show on Nicktoons Network.

Characters

U.Z.Z.

Anita Knight

Anita Knight is one of the two main protagonists, partnered with Victor Volt. She has blonde hair that ends in a cute little curl, wears a purple suit, and rides a green skybike. Somewhat more intelligent than Victor, she often has to save the day when Victor lands them in a sticky situation. Anita is from London and is a very good singer. Anita initially believes from her parents that she is allergic to salt water, but on rescuing Victor underwater, finds that she is actually a mermaid. Anita is good at playing the Tamborine. Anita has a secret crush on an artist named Alfonse. Her catch phrase is, "Victor!" . Anita is more serious than Victor and she's a better secret agent than him.

Victor Volt

Victor Thomas Jefferson Volt is the second of the two main protagonists, wearing a blue suit and partnered with Anita Knight. He is from America,he was recruited by U.Z.Z at a comic book convention, is easily distracted and often acts childishly, sometimes getting the two agents into trouble or causing a crisis that requires further intervention by U.Z.Z. Victor's level of competence generally changes depending on the situation; in some cases he acts incompetently, whereas only scenes later he may manipulate the situation brilliantly. Victor could be seen as a hero who does not truly show his skills until he gets serious.

He was unaware that his mother, whom the U.Z.Z. agents hid with when they were accused of a crime caused by the Imposters, was once a secret agent. It is shown that in the future (episode "Victor of the Future"), Victor will eventually take Changed Daily's place as acting leader of U.Z.Z and similarly have his name changed, and his name will be "Changed Pan-Dimensionally" (for different time zones), although his names are actually sensible (such as Jet Strong), much to Changed Daily's dismay ("What?! I get Nibbly Nobbly Knob Knees and he gets Jet Strong!") Victor's dad was also an agent for U.Z.Z, he was shown in Dimension 10. His name believed to be Lionel Volt. Victor is a Vegetarian. His catch phrase is, "Yes, I'm still alive!" when ever Professor Professor calls him, and says, "Victor are you still alive?" Victor can't sing and is tone deaf. However, Victor's good at playing the Air Guitar.

Professor Professor

Professor Professor is a brilliant scientist from Germany, and member of U.Z.Z. He is the only other member of U.Z.Z apart from Victor and Anita who sit in the main meeting room with Changed Daily. He has a bald head and red glasses, and speaks with a German accent. Rather than behaving as a sophisticated professor, he acts like a mad scientist; nevertheless, his inventions are often brilliant, although occasionally some may backfire and create a threat, such as a baldness cure that threatens to consume the earth with hair (and giant lice!).

He once was the student of "The School for the Chronically Gifted", and a classmate of Doctor Doctor. He has a brother named Maestro Maestro and his mother's name is Frau Frau.

His catch phrase in the series involves Professor Professor contacting Victor when something bad happens to ask, "Victor, are you still alive?" to which Victor answers, frustratedly, "Yes, I'm still alive!" His other catch phrase is that when he gives them an invention he normally says, "It is totally untested unt could be highly dangerous." Like Victor Professor Professor can't sing. Professor Professor is good at playing the Xylophone.

Changed Daily

For a list of Changed Daily's names, see List of The Secret Show episodes.

Changed Daily (No Actual Name) is the commander of U.Z.Z. Like all of the other characters he has a Monobrow. Changed Daily also has a British accent, a moustache and a classy Suit. Another of the running gags in the series is that his name is changed at the beginning of every episode; he will mention that for reasons of security, his name is "changed daily". He then uses his hand-held machine to get his latest codename, which always turns out to be ridiculous, much to the short-lived amusement of Victor, Anita and Professor Professor.

The meeting room also consists of a Fireplace mantel belonging to Changed Daily, which he seemingly takes everywhere and even sleeps with it; he is almost always depicted leaning against it except for one episode when it had been taken from him. The mantelpiece is also shown to contain secret compartments, special gadgets, and can even fly.

Prior to becoming the commander, Changed Daily was once a top agent occupying the role that Victor now has; he was partnered with Lucy Woo, Anita's counterpart. Whilst he excels as the leader of U.Z.Z, real field work is no longer his strong point, as he apparently hasn't done much of it in many years. His catch phrase is, "Now as you know for reasons of security my name is Changed Daily. Today you may call me...Ohhhhh... (Whatever his name of the day is.)" His other catch phrases are, "Code Custard! Code Custard!" and "Order! Order!". He just wants to have a cool name of the day without Victor, Anita, and Professor Professor laughing at him every day. Nobody knows what Changed Daily's real name is (with the exeption of Lucy Woo). His former babysitter once commented that the other kids she babysat back then used to give him ridiculous nicknames. Everyone seems to be used to the idea of Changed Daily always getting a ridiculous name. When Doctor Doctor once made him unable to pick the device where he learns his new name, Professor Professor tells Victor to read it since they need to laugh a little. When Victor's future self tells them his name is Changed Pan-Dimensionally, Changed Daily was hoping for him to get a ridiculous name as well. Changed Daily is really good at playing the Piano. At the end of every episode Changed Daily will say, "And so (whatever bad thing that happend was prevented.)". It has been said that he is in love with Lucy Woo.

Special Agent Ray

Special Agent Ray is the Unit Commander for U.Z.Z. He provides back-up for Victor and Anita in the field. He is good at keeping his cool under fire and very loyal to U.Z.Z. Ray has a British accent, Elvis styled hair, an official blue suit, head phone communicator in his left ear, and wears sunglasses. Often running missions behind the scenes, he is seen at the beginning of the show when he and his agents clear out the set of the "The Fluffy Bunny Show" as "this time slot is needed urgently". He is also extremely talented at playing the Trumpet and the Banjo. Ray's catch phrases are "This time slot is needed urgently.", "Clear.", and "Run The Secret Show.".

The World Leader

The World Leader is the leader of the world. Nobody but her husband understands what she says. This is because she is actually speaking Ancient Aztec. She lives in the world Leaders palace and is re-elected as world leader every year unfailingly apart from one year when an evil clown is elected accidently by everyone . Her Catch phrase is "Blu blagumbug bl,bl, blu blaaa".

Stacey Stern

Stacey Stern is the news reporter on the Secret Show reporting the mission currently being investigated by U.Z.Z. She usually ends her report with the catch phrase, "You may be you, but I'm Stacey Stern."

Agent Kowalski

The only other female U.Z.Z agent seen in The Secret Show, besides Anita. Little is known about her, except that she is the rank of a standard U.Z.Z agent.

The Fluffy Bunny Show

Sweet Little Granny

Sweet Little Granny is the host of The Fluffy Bunny Show which is played part of before The Secret Show "steals" its time slot for television. Sweet Little Granny is exactly 138 years old. She started The Fluffy Bunny Show when she was 38 years old, and was then known as sweet little girl. Her catch phrase is "Shall we sing our song?". She is married to Sweet Old Grandpa.

Sweet Old Grandpa

Sweet Old Grandpa is Sweet Little Granny's husband. He once hosted The Fluffy Bunny show when Sweet Little Granny was having a hip replacement operation.

T.H.E.M.

Doctor Doctor

Doctor Doctor is the main antagonist of The Secret Show. She has a blaster hidden in her lightning streaked hair(Who would guess!?) and She is the leader of the evil organization called T.H.E.M. She always tries to rule the world but, mostly thanks to U.Z.Z, she always fails. Professor Professor has made mention of the fact that if she weren't evil she would be the perfect woman(He does secretly fancy her). Like Anita, Doctor Doctor is a really good singer.

Kent B. Trusted

A double agent seen once in every episode. He supposedly works for U.Z.Z., fooling even Anita, Victor and Changed Daily despite his occasionally obvious mistakes, but secretly reports to T.H.E.M. He can be identified by his blonde hair and rounded glasses. His name is a deliberately obvious pun on the words "can't be trusted". He has helped T.H.E.M in missions and one of them is getting the 'Secret thing' and they failed.

Other Forces

The show also features other forces that threaten the world, besides T.H.E.M.

The Impostors

The Impostors are extremely dangerous villains that live 90 miles below the surface of the Earth and can "impost" humans using Hologrammatic Replication. They like the cold and are allergic to penguins. Inside their suits they are small one eyed maggot-like creatures. Their leader also has one eye and an eye-shaped symbol on its chest.

The Reptogators

The Reptogators live 60 miles below the surface of the Earth, and are naturally stupid; they have terrible eye sight, so they track people down by the smell of dirty teeth . They only become intelligent by sucking out the brainwaves of other creatures. They are able to run at 83 miles per hour.

The Floaty Heads

Aliens from the planet Zabulon III, the Floaty Heads are helium-based life forms, whose helium filled heads float above their bodies. Their leader is Prince Spong, even though he is only 12. (He is extremely afraid of his mother.) The Floaty Heads have never forgiven Victor for lieing to them about The Ball of Spong and Prince Spong has never forgiven Changed Daily for eating The Ball of Spong.

The Kid

The Kid is a super intelligent child. He has the knowledge of a super computer and he is also the head of U.Z.Z..

Vehicles and Equipment

Skybike

The Skybike is the standard-issue vehicle for U.Z.Z. Agents. It looks similar to a Jet Ski, but is capable of flight. How the Skybike flies is not made clear, but they have a single jet or rocket motor at the back for propulsion, and two smaller retro-boosters on the front. Skybikes are capable of vertical take off and landing, as well as being able to hover and fly backwards. They have retractable tripod-style undercarriage. Most U.Z.Z. Skybikes are blue, but Anita Knights' Skybike is green, and Victor Volts' is purple. Skybikes are equipped with a retractable glass dome which encloses the rider, enabling the Skybike to be used in outer space or underwater. Skybikes are armed with a retractable 'Bike Cannon', which is similar in appearance to the U.Z.Z. laser pistol, but seems to be much more powerful. Skybikes also have an array of equipment for grabbing other objects, such as retractable claw-grips and magnets. They are capable of generating an 'Anti-Meteorite Force Field Deflector' to provide protection against space debris.

Weird Little Motor Thingys

These aired in one episode, in which students of Professor Professor's former mentor, use them to steal the planets monuments, and race them. Once used for twenty minutes straight, they go critical and can not be stopped.
