Vedior acquisition

On 3 December 2007, Randstad had a takeover offer for smaller competitor Vedior accepted in principle by the company's board. If successful, the deal would create the world's second-largest recruitment business, second only to Adecco.[2] Randstad launched a formal offer valuing Vedior at €3.3 billion on 2 April, 2008, with the takeover targeted to be completed in May.[3]

Randstad is currently the world’s third largest recruitment and HR services company.
