Liliane Saint- Pierre
Liliane Saint Pierre, her real name is: Liliane Keuninckx (born in Diest, (Flemish Brabant), December 18, 1948) is a belgian (flemish) singer of dutch language. She has a great career. She has started her career in 1960's when she was 13 years old in her great hit was We gotta stop sung in dutch. She She has sung several songs in english and dutch. In that times she sang as Liliane. She became a success in Belgium. She has known Claude François a french producer and he was asked to promoted her in France. He accepted this, but decided LIliane was too short for a name. He added Saint Pierre because this sounded french.
Liliane has represented Belgium in Eurovision Song Contest 1987 where she has sung the entry "Soldiers of Love in dutch (a pacifist song). She has ended in 11 th place and 56 points.
