Entrance Music

Why does the WWE insist on constantly putting "over" this no-talent ass clown??? Anyone?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.100.182.55 (talk) 07:09, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps all wrestling pages could have an additional bullet in their information box identifying their current entrance theme music.--APZachariah (talk) 08:45, 22 April 2008 (UTC) Wasnt he going to use Coming Home by Alter Bridge? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.244.28.235 (talk) 09:22, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tattoos.

I've seen that he recently got a new tattoo. It's difficult to see what it says, but I have a feeling it's the one he spoke about getting on WWE.com's feature, "Superstar Ink."

Wikipedia is not a forum. –Cheers, LAX 21:37, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This I realize. However, my previous statement was relevant to the article, as no one has mentioned anything about his newest tattoo in the section about them. I thought I would share that information in the hopes that it would be added to the page. Heatherette1988 (talk) 21:59, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ryder & Hawkins

In order to avert a possible edit war, I think it would be appropriate to discuss the legitimacy of Ryder and Hawkins listed as managers to Edge.

As I see it, they are not his managers, they are actually subordinates. They take orders from Edge. They do not speak for Edge, they do not issue orders to Edge at all. Accompanying him to the ring and interfering in his matches does not qualify them as managers, else Hulk Hogan would have half of the nWo listed as his managers, as would Triple H with D-X and Evolution.  Hazardous Matt  15:04, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. They're not his managers, they're his lackeys. There's a difference. ♥NiciVampireHeart15:14, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Now, I do find it notable that Edge is the leader of this faction, rather than being the usual tag team partner. Is there a way we can come to terms by listing Ryder and Hawkins as subordinates? Perhaps instead of listing them under "Managers" we list them under "Followers" or "Stablemates"?  Hazardous Matt  15:21, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Correct. They accompany him to the ring, which does not equal manager. Read Manager (professional wrestling) for more info on the actual role of a manager. Nikki311 17:07, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree on tha manager page it clearly endorses full time wrestlers that watch the wrestler's back. That is exactly what Hawkins and Ryder are and do.JakeDHS07 (talk) 17:13, 14 March 2008 (UTC)JakeDHS07[reply]
That was written in the Managers vs. Enforcers section, a section arguing the difference between the two, as they are not the same thing. Nikki311 17:24, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WrestleMania streak

This article doesn't say anything about his WrestleMania streak like the article for Undertaker says something about his WrestleMania streak. Even though the WWE says that he is undefeated at WrestleMania and even him himself says that he is undefeated at WrestleMania, I would not consider him undefeated at WresteMania. He competed in six WrestleManias (soon to be seven at XXIV): 2000 in Anaheim, California, X-Seven in Houston, Texas, X8 in Toronto, Ontario, 21 in Los Angeles, California, 22 in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illionis and 23 in Detroit, Michigan. 2000 he competed in a triangle ladder match with Christian against The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) and The Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) for the tag team championships and won. X-Seven he competed in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match with Christian against The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) and The Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) for the tag team championships which he won. X8 he competed in a one-on-one match against Booker T which he won. 21 he competet in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match against Christ Jericho, Shelton Benjamin, Chris Benoit, Christian and Kane which he won. 22 he competed in a Hardcore match against Mick Foley which he won. 23 he competed in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match against Mr. Kennedy, CM Punk, King Booker, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Finlay and Randy Orton which he lost to Mr. Kennedy. That would put his WrestleMania streak at five wins and one loss going into XXIV in a one-on-one match against Undertaker for the world heavyweight championship. After his match in XXIV, his WrestleMania streak could end up being either six wins and one loss or five wins and two losses. Overall the WWE (and either is Edge himself) is not right when they say that he is undefeated at WrestleMania. Gibsonj338 (talk) 08:17, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, and? ♥NiciVampireHeart08:14, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am just saying that if what the WWE is saying is true about his WrestleMania streak (which they are not) how come his WrestleMania streak is not talked about in the article just like Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak is talked about in his article? Gibsonj338 (talk) 08:17, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Because 1) as you said it's not true, snd 2) 'Taker's streak is made a big deal of all year round. It's a gimmick of his that he can't be beaten at 'Mania. edge has only brought this up now, and WWE's doctoring it so that he's never lost at 'Mania. This'll be forgotten in a few weeks/months, and it's not notable or pertinent to the article. ♥NiciVampireHeart08:23, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
now he's not Bam123456789 (talk) 16:12, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
true that he is not undefeated(and was not before WM), not true that he never talked about it. he also talked about it every year , but because he is heel, no one listened to him. but my oppinion - its just not necessary info. Diivoo (talk) 20:42, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Imposter?

There is a guy on Youtube; http://www.youtube.com/user/AdamCopelandEdge, who is at least doing a halfway decent job of convincing people he is the real edge. This guy is going around weighing in on videos about Chris Benoit. This is something that could get him into some real trouble. Is it worth mentioning? For instance, I take a quote from a comment this person made.

"I don't know what exactly happened. I don't think anyone knows. I, Adam Copeland, did some research myself about the Chris Benoit Murder-suicide incident. Look at the facts, Chris, Nancy, and Daniel we're found dead on Chris and Nancy's 10th wedding anniversery. There was a bible near Chris' body. Nancy's previously husband, Kevin Sullivan is a satanist, 10 years early swore that he'd kill Chris and Nancy, it's a shame, I remember how Benoits and Jerichos kids got along, those were great times."

There's no belief in my mind that this is the actual person, but it might be worth mention.

This is something i pulled off of the myspace account linked to that youtube account. i think this guy thinks he's like the-would-be-love-child of edge and john cena.

Move request

From Adam Copeland to Edge (wrestler).

I think it's time to do it. --KingOfDX (talk) 21:55, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, it's his common name. King iMatthew 2008 21:58, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The reason the page wasn't moved before is because he published a book under the name Adam Copeland. -- Scorpion0422 21:59, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It can be noted on the page. --KingOfDX (talk) 22:03, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that it is time to move the name of the page. He may have published the book under Adam Copeland, but since then he has been referred to as Edge on multiple interview and television programs outside of wrestling (Such as IGN interviews, Mind of Mencia, and other TV Shows during his reign as WWE Champion.) Edge is the common name, and so it should be the name of the page.--ProtoWolf (talk) 08:27, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please see THIS on why the page will not be moved. King iMatthew 2008 10:18, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I've blocked the page from being moved by anyone but an admin, so please discuss this further before making any more moves. Thanks. Nikki311 16:33, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name change

Resolved

Someone earlier decided without consensus to move it to Edge (wrestler). The move has since been reverted. I would Oppose moving it to Edge (wrestler). D.M.N. (talk) 06:48, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done King iMatthew 2008 21:04, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Revert war

FYI: A move page revert war is coming per this which goes against above consensus. D.M.N. (talk) 06:38, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've left a notice there for those users to read the consensus formed here. King iMatthew 2008 10:19, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

La Familia

It should be mentioned that Edge is now in a Stable: La Familia. Other members are: Chavo Guerrero, Curt Hawkins, Zach Ryder, Bam Neely and Vicky Guerrero.Zaheer12a (talk) 00:47, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since the wedding will go on, the Undertaker could return to mess up the wedding.
