The labs, with latest facilities and unlimited Internet facility, give the students a cutting edge in technical exploration and enhance their information search and analytical skills. The course not only gives them a chance to understand and explore their area of interest, but it will be an important aspect in their contribution to the company they would join after the degree. Students are encouraged to join various technical and non-technical forums, which in turn gives them horizontal exposure to Engineering concepts and technology.[10] The faculty and staff are young, enthusiastic, energetic and motivated. [11] Labs are continuously upgraded with AICTE & state grants. The alumni are placed in various organisations of international repute. Department has good linkages with the industry and scientific and research organisation. Faculty and students engage themselves in technical conferences and have presented papers in reputed journals/ conferences. The preeminence of the department can be understood by the ever increasing demands of its fresh graduates. Close interaction with the industry has led to the evolution of a teaching system, which produces diligent and erudite engineers. The young engineers have excelled both in higher education and in industry.[12] The facilities include Electronics Workshop, Electronic Circuits Lab, Digital Electronics Lab, Microprocessor Lab and an Advanced Communication Lab.[13] Electrical & Electronics Engineering The department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was started in the institution in the year 2007 with an annual intake of 60 students.
